B. Start listening, rest your head on your hand, shuffle papers on your desk, and try to guess what he is going to say next.

C. Look up from your mobile phone, stop texting, and ask if he’ll start from the beginning.

D. Hear him out, thank him for sharing, ask if needs to take a sick day to deal with it, and suggest contacting the EAP office if he needs more support.. LO5
