Use OrCAD to study how the voltage across the circuit in Figure P750 changes as the value
Question:
Use OrCAD to study how the voltage across the circuit in Figure P7–50 changes as the value of the resistor is varied.
Use the Parameter function (PARAM) found in the Special Library and do a Transient Analysis for 10 ms. Select Parametric Sweep and then select Global Parameter. Use the same name as for the Parametric function and vary the resistor from 10 V to 10 kV using the logarithmic choice and 3 points per decade. This will generate a family of curves corresponding to different values of resistance. By clicking on the various curves, determine if the response becomes more or less damped as R varies from 10 V to 10 kV.
