The tab Sample Data in the spreadsheet Ch13Stocks.xls contains two columns of numbers that represent the prices of two stocks on 25 equally spaced (business) days. Copy these data into the stock price columns in the Correlation tab. Discuss the meaning of the various parameters presented.

Replace the numbers in the stock #1 column with the numbers 1, 2, 3, … 25. Can you fi nd any meaning in the results?
