Team up with another student and exchange your revised versions of Message 6.A (in the exercises under "Messages for Analysis"). Evaluate each other's work to see if it could be improved. After you have critiqued each other's work, take a moment to examine the way you expressed your comments and the way you felt listening to the other student's comments. Can you identify ways to improve the critiquing process in situations such as this? For example, did your comments focus on the writing and not the writer?
