(a) Calculate the Rydberg constant for hydrogen and for deuterium using the reduced mass as given by Equation 37-47 in Problem 17.

(b) Using the result obtained in (a), determine the wavelength difference between the longest wavelength Balmer lines of hydrogen and deuterium.
