The major stock exchanges are members of the World Federation of Exchanges, found at www.world-exchanges.org. Click on "Member Exchanges," tour the world, and select three stock exchanges by clicking on their pins. Note the number of listed companies, the types of securities traded (click on "View More Information"), and visit their Web sites. Compare what you find to the Toronto Stock Exchange.
