The software industry in India has become a major force in software systems development worldwide. A survey of Indian practitioners who do design and usability work for such systems was conducted. a. Build a 95% confidence interval estimate of the proportion of all Indian practitioners in this field who have at least a Master’s degree.
b. Suppose you wanted to reduce the margin of error for your 95% confidence interval in part a to 3% (that is, + .03). How large a sample would be required? Treat the earlier survey as a pilot sample.
