I am a computer networks and programming tutor and, having my knowledge in my hands is pivotal to the way I teach. I have a strong passion for both of these areas, and I can provide a varied and rich perspective to my students in keeping (the possibly ridiculous) hobby of collecting vintage network gadgets. I have a diverse skill set with hands-on experience writing code in the real world on many team and independent projects. Configured and managed network infrastructure, diagnosing problems in complex configurations to ensure maximum network performance. This hands-on experience has also he... lped me to become more adept at configuring both routers and switches, as well as the installation of network security adjuncts such as firewalls and sometimes intrusion detection mechanisms. My tutoring sessions are mostly talking. However, I always say to students why not work on practical projects and get hands-on experience - which is the reality of things. I follow a student-centered approach where the primary goal is to develop confidence and understanding in both computer networking as well as programming. This, along with my practical approach to learning and programming skills, as well as the little side hobby makes me a good fit for a guide to give you rich content that should make you knowledgeable/competent in the area of computer networks.
