The doctors believe their medical background gives them greater knowledge and skill in treating cancer and often discount ideas from other members of the team when making decisions. Cathy, Nancy, Janet, and Sharon resent this behavior because they feel they spend the most time with the children and understand how to handle their care. The patients are unhappy, and the team dissatisfied.
