Consider the statement, “Words are just tokens that we exchange to organize our behavior; we don’t know anything, really, about what it is they refer to, but they help us organize our social behavior. Reality is a mutual hallucination. It only looks the way it does because all of us have the same, more or less, mental apparatus and we act as if it’s there.” Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?
