This is an introductory chapter, so at this stage there are not many technical questions that you might be able to put to your accountants. Your questions, therefore, are more likely to revolve round the accountants themselves, the organization of the accounting function within the entity, and the role that the accountants see themselves playing within the entity. The following is a sample of the types of general questions that as a non-accountant you might like to put to the accountants employed within your entity.
