Do you think that narrative reports would be more useful to non-accountant users of annual reports than quantitative ones?

Annual reports, especially those for large companies, have become extremely lengthy and complicated in recent years. And yet there are constant demands by various external parties for more and more information to be put in them. This article argues that the changing nature of business calls for more narrative reporting in annual reports.
