Do you think that the requirement to produce interim accounts on a sixth monthly basis is unnecessary? There is currently (April 2003) an EU proposal to require interim accounts to be produced on a quarterly basis. Would this be of benefit to current and prospective shareholders? How far would it be of any help to other users of accounts?
