A study by Cimprich (A-35) tested the effects of an experimental intervention aimed at maintaining or restoring attentional capacity in 32 women during the three months after surgery for localized breast cancer. Attentional capacity was assessed using objective and subjective measures at four time points after breast cancer surgery. After the first observation, subjects were divided equally into two groups by random assignment either to receive intervention or not to receive intervention.
