In small groups, deliver two versions of the same presentation. Choose a topic that interests you: a hobby, service work, business idea, or something else. Prepare to deliver two or three sentences of a presentation about the topic.

First, write out a script and deliver it. Next, put the script away and speak extemporaneously. What differences do you and other students observe? Which was clearer? With which did more of your personality show through? What can you learn from this experience for future presentations?
