■ Laying off employees during economic downturns.

■ Requiring employers to offer insurance plans.

■ Banning smoking in the workplace for insurance purposes.

■ Integrating social media and branding into an organization.

■ Hiring/recruiting and diversity in the workplace.

■ Current hot business topic.

Then, prepare a four-minute slide show presentation to share with your peers. The presentation should include only visual elements and contain no words. With the visuals, you should take a stand and present an argument about one of the topics. Recall the guidelines outlined in this chapter about effectively using visuals.

Remember that your presentation needs to be captivating to the audience and effectively convey your purpose.

As your instructor directs,
