Question:

Write an e-mail to your instructor summarizing your team’s progress.

In the introductory paragraph, summarize the team’s progress in terms of its goals and its schedule, your own progress on the tasks for which you are responsible, and your feelings about the team’s work thus far.

Under a heading titled “Work Completed,” list what has already been done. Be most specific about what you yourself have done. Describe briefly the chronology of team activities: number, time, and length of meetings;

topics discussed and decisions made at meetings.

If you have solved problems creatively, say so. You can also describe obstacles you’ve encountered that you have not yet solved. In this section, you can also comment on problems that the team has faced and whether or not they’ve been solved. You can comment on things that have gone well and have contributed to the smooth functioning of the team.

Under “Work to Be Completed,” list what you personally and other team members still have to do. Indicate the schedule for completing the work.
