7. Collection of Sample Periodic Reports. Although this chapter noted the presence of periodic reports in businesses, there is little consistency as to the kinds of periodic reports required within organizations. Our focus is on business. Yet, many other organizations—not directly business-related— also produce periodic reports, some of which may be similar to business or- ganizations. Go to the offices of one or two of the following organizations and ask for copies of what they consider to be periodic reports. If they will not release the complete report, you could simply list the headings used within those reports. Locate similarities, determine whether some of the contents and headings might be of use to businesses.
