8. Skill Builder With a small group of your classmates, plan a group presentation in which you

(a) review the meaning of a communication concept you’ve learned about in this class,

(b) provide examples to illustrate the concept, and

(c) explain how students can apply this concept in their own lives.

Decide whether you will organize your presentation by topic or by task. Assign speaking roles, and plan your introduction, transitions, and conclusion.

Agree on a set of unobtrusive signals you can use to regulate teammates’ delivery. Conduct at least one dress rehearsal of your presentation. When you are ready, videotape the presentation.
