A golf resort purchased 10 golf carts from Yamaha. The carts would not charge properly, but the resort kept the carts, in part due to the promises Yamaha made to fix them. None of the repairs worked, and the resort attempted to revoke its acceptance. The court rejected the revocation since the resort had been using the carts for one year after Yamaha had stopped trying to repair the carts. The resort, the court said, waited an unreasonably long time to revoke its acceptance as required under UCC § 2-608.
