OECD Skills Outlook 2019. The OECD Skills Outlook 2019 provides the output of the OECD Going Digital project among the OECD member countries. It reports that digitalization brings many new learning opportunities such as the open education and massive open online courses (MOOCs)

that offer new ways to acquire and diffuse knowledge and develop skills throughout life. The data collected shows that women are less likely to participate in MOOCs than men.

By looking at different fields of study, computer science only consists of 18% of women. There are about 37% of women in the field of government, health and social science. Humanities, history, design, religion and education field consists of about 48% of women and 15% of women are in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
