In April 2019, as part of the Eurobarometer survey on climate change, over 27,000 respondents from different social and demographic groups in the 28 member states of the European Union were interviewed and asked what they consider to be the single most serious problem facing the world. The issues included poverty, climate change, the economic situation, the increasing global population, and others.
