The same hospital as in Exercise 37 reported the following data based on the gender of the staff members during the two shifts.

a) What percent of all staff members is female?

b) What percent of the morning shift is female?

c) What percent of the night shift is female?

d) Do you see any evidence of an association between the kind of shifts and the percentage of female staff members?
If so, why do you believe this might be true?
