(p. 352). A random sample of 100 drug dealers had a mean Wanting Recognition (WR) score of 39 points, with a standard deviation of 6 points. Recall that the WR score is a quantitative measure of a person’s level of need for approval and sensitivity to social situations. (Higher scores indicate a greater need for approval.)

A criminal psychologist claims that the range of WR scores for the population of convicted drug dealers is 42 points. Do you believe the psychologist’s claim?
