Go to the U.S. Census Bureau website and find the table of Consumer Price Indexes by Major Groups 1990 to 2010 (www.census.gov /compendia/statab/2012/tables/12s0725.pdf). Construct time series plots of (1) the price index for all items over time (years), (2) the price index for food over time, (3) the price index for energy over time, and (4) the price index for housing over time. For each time series plot, describe apparent trends in the price index.
