Youve likely heard of the phenomenon of the bridezilla: women who make their wedding day the most
Question:
You’ve likely heard of the phenomenon of the bridezilla: women who make their wedding day the most important and stressful day of their lives. This got me to wondering: do women invest more of their life satisfaction in getting married than men do? First, using ANES data, run a crosstab and chi-square test using the married/partnered variable (the “mvp” variable that includes just those married or partnered) as the independent variable and the dichotomously recoded life satisfaction variable as the dependent variable.
Then, elaborate this crosstab (and chi-square test) by running it once for men and once for women. Summarize your results.
