Determine the maximum amount of 1,3-propanediol that can be produced as a function of the generalized degree of reduction of the substrate if there are no other by-products. Also, when less than the maximum amount of 1,3-propanediol is produced, determine the oxygen and heat flow yield factors as a function of the generalized degree of reduction of the substrate and the 1,3-propanediol yield factor.
