Determine whether, upon reaching the ground, (a) the ball projected upward will have the greater speed, (b) the ball projected downward will have the greater speed, or (c) both balls will have the same speed. Clearly establish the reasoning and physical principle(s) used in determining your answer before checking it. That is, why did you select your answer?
