Obtain copies of manuals and demonstration diskettes of a number of estimating programs and tabulate and compare their features, with special regard to

(a) size and capacity,

(b) hardware requirements,

(c) userfriendliness of the manuals and the software programs,

(d) flexibility of the programs in use,

(e) efficacy of the manual and

(f) preparation time required before the program ts Operational (in setting up a master estimate, or database, or both, and in learning).
