Question:
Consider the system of Fig. P6.2-1, with \(D(z)=1\). Use the results of Problem 6.2-1 if available.
(a) Find the system time constant \(\tau\) for \(T=4 \mathrm{~s}\).
(b) With the input a step function, find the time required for the system output \(c(k T)\) to reach 98 percent of its final value, for \(T=4 \mathrm{~s}\). Recall that four time constants \((4 \tau)\) are required.
(c) Repeat parts (a) and (b) for \(T=0.6 \mathrm{~s}\).
(d) Repeat parts (a) and (b) for the analog system, that is, for the system with the sampler and data hold removed.
