In this wonderful world of Physics, it doubles the beauty of the subject when I convey some of the interesting ideas and explain the elementary things in a more basic and simpler way. Having cracked much National entrance like JAM and JRF I hope I will be able to live up to the expectation of my students and will be able to convey the topic in a greater depth.
My actual research interest is quantum mechanics, especially quantum
field theory, as well as condensed matter physics. With the view of QFT, application of QFT in condensed matter physics is the area which I have
found very engaging. As a post-graduate, I have only made baby steps in the field of physics,
though I am zealous in the ever-fascinating field of QFT in condensed matter and I want to satiate
my thirst in the beautiful mathematical constructions of QFT, but I am also interested in deep
interconnections and various application of QFT in High Energy Physics. I had experienced a
glimpse of it when I was doing my MSc. Project in Aspects of Chern Simons Theory in QHE
which I found out to be so interesting and facinating. I also would like to learn and explore more
on Topological Insulators and the application of QFT in understanding them.
