A researcher hypothesizes that \(50 \%\) of American homes are heated by natural gas, \(30 \%\) are heated by electricity, \(10 \%\) are heated by fuel oil, and \(10 \%\) are heated by other methods. A random survey of 300 homes in a specific area found that 163 were heated by natural gas, 92 were heated by electricity, 34 were heated by fuel oil, and 11 were heated by other methods.
