14.34 [EX14-34] An article in the International Journal of Sports Medicine discusses the use of the Mann–Whitney U test to compare the total cholesterol

(mg/dL) of 35 adipose (obese) boys with that of 27 adipose girls. No significant difference was found between the two groups with respect to total cholesterol. A similar study involving six adipose boys and eight adipose girls gave the following total cholesterol values.

Use the Mann–Whitney U test to test the research hypothesis that the total cholesterol values differ for the two groups, using the 0.05 level of significance.
