Employer instituted a religious program in the workplace called “Onionhead” to “harness happiness” of employees. Among other things, employees were required to say “I love you,” to share messages about heaven and Satan and burn candles to keep the devil away from the office. Employee is fired for not complying. Can employer establish an Onionhead religion? Are these practices okay for the employer to require of employees?
