Verna has been having all sorts of problems with cash flow. First, when she originally purchased her building, she opted for an adjustable rate mortgage as it was so much lower interest. Now the economy has entered a down turn and her interest rate has doubled. Just when she thought it couldn’t get worse, one of her major customers declared bankruptcy BEFORE paying his bills.
3. Iva Jean though her computer dating service was nearly foolproof, but that was until her competitor came out with a new option that allowed online, real time video chatting. Then, when a mudslide damaged her building, she had to suspend services for nearly a week until she could get set up at a different location.
4. Dennis didn’t know what was worse: the fact that one of his customers had tripped over an open file drawer and broke her shoulder or that, when he was putting the contents of the drawer back into the file cabinet, he uncovered a set of paid, fraudulent invoices.
