The Excel file following Chapter 10 contains five data sets (one of them being the data on hotel room prices analyzed in this chapter). You shall use these data sets to do the following tasks:

a) Create a table with descriptive statistics. The table should include the following:
Mean, standard deviation, min, and max for all variables in the data set.

b) Create a histogram of the dependent variable with bin intervals of your own choice.

c) List three hypotheses that you would like to test using a regression model later.

d) Perform bivariate regression models using price as the dependent variable and each of the characteristics as the independent variables.

e) Report and interpret the results from these analyses.

f) Experiment with various multiple regression models. Report and comment on the results from the model you have chosen.
