A study found that college students who take more than one course from a professor give the professor higher course evaluations than do students who take only one course from the professor, suggesting that taking multiple courses from a professor causes students to appreciate the professor more. Identify the most important statistical bias in this sample and describe a (hypothetical) controlled experiment that would get rid of this problem.
