Intercultural Communication: Recognizing Cultural Variations Find three members of your class from different cultural backgrounds and preferably very different ethnicities. Using the eight categories of cultural variations defined in this chapter, discuss together how each of your cultural values fits within the context of these variations so that you can identify clear cultural differences between you all. Find out if you have ever caused each other to be uncomfortable because of these differences and why this is the case. For your tutor, list the differences you have identified, and in one or two pages, evaluate the advantages and disadvantages these differences could create in a working environment. Avoid individual identification so that your work can be shared with your class.
