The sum of the individual customers’ balances as at 30 September 2012 was £492,800. This did not agree with the balance in the Receivable control account. The following errors have been discovered:
(a) Total of the discount column on the receipt side of the Cash Book was overcast by £1,800
(b) A sales invoice for £8,200 was not entered in the Sales Day Book
(c) £5,400 offset by contra is not recorded in both Personal ledger control accounts
(d) A cheque for £3,000 received from a customer has been debited to his account Identify the trade receivables as at 30 September 2012.
