You used four categories of costs and other measures of quality to organize the list, and I’m hoping you can help me figure out how to use these categories to help the company get the most ‘bang’ for its ‘buck.’ Curl-Up-and-Dry’s annual budget meeting is coming up next month, and | want to be sure to balance the resources allocated to each of these categories to ensure the maximum quality improvement for the company. But it seems like the four categories you used are interrelated. When | go to the meet- ing, | want to recommend that we focus on, and allocate more money to, one of the four costs of quality. | also want to be able to justify my recommendation. Which cate- gory do you think we should focus on, and how will the focus on that one category af- fect the costs and other measures of quality in the other categories?”
