1.Look up the website of National Australia Bank (www.nab.com.au ) or another large bank and click on ‘Shareholder Centre’. Click ‘Annual reports’, and select the latest annual report (also downloadable in a PDF form).

Scroll through to see what the bank has to say about its liquidity position in its annual report.

Also look at the section on the bank’s security portfolio. What type of securities does it hold? Do you see any different trends versus previous years?

Examine the bank’s liabilities and determine if there have been any changes in the bank’s liability structure? LO 15.2
