Bornholms Kildevand produces natural spring water on the small island of Bornholm, Denmark in the Baltic sea. A 1 liter bottle retails for about 30 Danish kroner or roughly $4.50. On its bottles it claims: “At Bornholms Kildevand it is not merely a matter of quality. It is also about us wanting to focus on local foods. In our part of the world, we have particularly many natural resources, but we often choose to import foreign products instead. If we to a higher degree choose locally it will be beneficial to the environment, local society and the economy. We think this makes good sense.”
