Spherical steel balls of diameter D = 10 mm are cooled from an initial temperature of Thi = 1000 K by submersing them in an insulated oil bath initially at Ti = 300 K. The total mass of the balls is m = 200 kg, while the mass of oil is me = 500 kg. The convection coeffi- cient associated with the spheres and the oil is h = 40 W/m².K, and the steel properties are kn = 40 W/mK, Ph = 7800 kg/m³, and Ch = 600 J/kg. K. Determine the steady-state ball and oil temperatures, and the time needed for the balls to reach a temperature of Thf = 500 K.

I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo. I tutored students in classes and out of classes. I use a variety of strategies to tutor students that include: lecture, discussions about the subject matter, problem solving examples using the principles of the subject matter being discussed in class , homework assignments that are directed towards reinforcing what we learn in class , and detailed practice problems help students to master a concept. I also do thorough research on Internet resources or textbooks so that I know what students need to learn in order to master what is being taught in class .
