Using the job description for the benefits manager develop a list of interview questions you’d ask of job candidates. In groups of two or three, compare your interview questions and reach consensus on the questions you’d ask. Based on those questions, develop a list of evaluation metrics (how you’ll evaluate candidate responses). Stage a mock interview with one group member playing the role of the interviewer, one the job candidate and the other the observer. Video the interview if possible. Ask the candidate your questions and evaluate the information obtained. The observer’s job is to critique the interview. When you are finished, change roles and redo the mock interview. Present a summary of your questions and interview experience in a two‐ to‐three page paper or video.
