If I were to employ a collaborative approach when convening an interdisciplinary work group, I would expect:

a. the knowledge and skills of all, beyond their discipline roles, are engaged in an interdependent, emergent process.

b. that people would assume their usual roles and act without conscious effort and little interaction.

c. the group to organize itself to work independently with some coordination.

d. The group is viewed by the leaders by taking each individual and role into consideration.
