Watch a foreign film. Given the enormous movie industries in places like India, Hong Kong and Europe, global cinema is becoming less and less American. Movies from those countries are rarely shown in the large movie theaters or on television, so going out of your way to track down movies from other countries could be a great learning experience. Ask yourself whether you liked the movie, and why.
