Rfiectian As we noted in Module 1 in the Managing Groups and Leading Teams competency, when a project is assigned, we are often tempted to skip over the planning and coordination tasks, and to dive into working on the project. Effective managers recognize that this is a mistake. Looking back at your prior experiences with project work gives you an opportunity to identify any points where planning and coordination broke down.
