Can domestic dogs understand human body cues such as bowing, pointing, or glancing? Th e experimenter presented a body cue toward one of two objects and recorded whether or not the dog being tested correctly chose the object indicated. A four-year-old male pit bull named Krieger participated in this study. He chose the correct object 6 out of 10 times when the experimenter turned and looked towards the correct object.
