a. Calculate the observed value of the relative risk of having an LGA baby for the pregnant women who received usual prenatal care compared to those who received specialized prenatal care.
b. State the null and alternative hypotheses in the context of relative risk of having an LGA baby.
c. Use an appropriate randomization-based applet to find a p-value to test whether the observed relative risk (as calculated in part (a)) is statistically significant. Report and interpret the p-value in the context of the study. Note: Make sure to change the statistic to “Relative risk” when using the applet.
d. If you have a p-value from using the difference in conditional proportions as your statistic (from the previous exercise), compare that p-value to the one reported in part (c). Are they close? Explain why that makes sense.
