The United States imports a lot of cars, despite having its own auto industry. Each of the following statements are arguments some people could make for restricting imports of cars into the United States. a. “Foreign manufacturers are offloading cars made with cheap foreign labor operating in unsafe and unhealthy factories. We must pass a law to prevent this exploitation.” 

b. “We need to foster the innovation of small car companies like Tesla that can truly change the auto industry. Allowing foreign electric vehicle manufacturers to sell cars in the U.S. will squander any chance of creating those car domestically.” 

c. “You shouldn’t buy a car from Nissan or BMW! You’re putting people here out of a job.”
